Love is a tangled thing…

Cassa is in love with the man who taught her how to fight long ago. When she meets up with him in the forest outside Wolfhaven, she promises him her heart – as soon as they clear his name and restore his honor. But then Cassa ends up joined on a soul-deep level with the half-elven lordling, and all bets are off. She is torn between the man she has loved for years and the man who is joined with her very soul.

A journey begun…

Together, Cassa and Eris set off for the cursed Red Tower, on a mission to free the warriors trapped there. They will have to overcome many dangers and use all their cunning and skill to complete their task, and even then…the outcome is uncertain. Will they have enough strength between their small company of travelers to get the job done?

PLEASE NOTE: This epic fantasy tale is told in four parts. Each part is the length of a short novel, about 40,000 words or so. They will release, one part each month, from June until September 2015. In October 2015, the Omnibus Edition will be available, which will contain all four parts. The Omnibus Edition will be available in both ebook and print.

Cover Breakdown

AWFW1-400x600You might notice that each part of the book has a different cover. We did this deliberately because each cover features a different character.

Part 1 shows Neri in the woods of Wolfhaven. She’s really the catalyst for everything that comes after, so it felt appropriate to start with her.AWFW2-400x600

Part 2 is Eris. Solemn and determined, Eris starts to make an impact on the overall story line right about there.

AWFW3-400x600Part 3 is Cassa. The book is about her, after all. She’s the “Warrior for Wolfhaven” though it’s possible the title may refer to more than just her as we will see…

Part 4 is Rasan. Although he isn’t in the book for long periods of time, his influence is felt strongly throughout and he really comes into his own toward the end.

I know I was both amazed and a little confused when I first saw the design, but it makes sense now and I think you’ll like it when it’s revealed in a few weeks. Meanwhile, enjoy the books!

Rather than marry a boy she’s never even met, Cassa runs away from her cushy life and joins up with the first mercenary company that will take her. Only a teenager and very green, she learns a lot living the life of a traveling merc—until the day she falls in battle.

Left behind to die on a battlefield by the rest of her company, Cassa prays as she had never prayed before. When the Goddess answers, it is in the most unexpected way. Cassa’s lifelong fear of hounds will have to be overcome if she is going to help the Wolfchildren free their trapped Kin. Because Cassa now owes a life debt to the healer—the Lady Neri—who saves her life. And to the wolves…
